Summary
Official Sur-Ron kick pedal system conversion kit. Allows for independent power application from throttle or through pedals. Please note the kit is designed for machines with restricted power and speed ie 25kmph or 15 mph as a EAPC (Electrically assisted pedal cycle) and therefore has a very small rear sprocket to match. If you use the small rear sprocket in the kit and the bike is used in full power mode with large throttle openings at low speed then it can cause serious damage to the motor internals. So we recommend that if you want full power/speed with the pedal kit fitted then DO NOT fit the small rear sprocket supplied with the kit, but retain your original 48T standard sprocket, You will require a longer drive chain when installing with non standard sprockets.

Important Notice: Pedal Kit
Official Surron kick pedal system conversion kit.
This allows for independent power application from throttle or through pedals. Please note the kit is designed for machines with restricted power and speed ie 25kmph or 15 mph as a EAPC (Electrically assisted pedal cycle) and therefore has a very small 25T rear sprocket to suit. If you use the 25T rear sprocket in the kit and the bike is ridden in full power mode with large throttle openings at low speed then it can cause serious damage to the motor internals. So we recommend that if you want full power/speed with the pedal kit fitted then DO NOT fit the small rear sprocket supplied with the kit, but retain your original 48T standard sprocket. A longer length chain will be required for non-standard pedal kit sprocket.
Pre Installation Notes:
To ensure the optimal performance from your pedal kit the application of extra grease to the bearings and pre adjustment is essential as follows:
Remove Right Hand Nut
Loosen sprocket and remove
Remove locking nut and bearing cap
Slide crank shaft out, re grease with a quality grease
Re-assemble shaft and bearing cap
Tighten bearing cap until it starts to resist, then loosen a fraction for free movement so it turns smoothly
Replace lock nut (with thread locking compound recommended)
Replace Sprocket – leave loose for adjustment once fitted to the bike
During use if you experience any extra free play on the pedal kit, stop use immediately and adjust, otherwise, bearings will become loose and lead to failure. Bearing failure by lack of maintenance and adjustment is not covered under warranty.
